New Year Resolutions! ~ A Mood Board
Hello everyone!
I strongly believe visuals and goal setting as well as personal awareness are keys for success.
This year I have decided to put together a mood / vision board documenting my current state of mind and goals for next year to share with you.
Thank you for being a part of my journey! We will see how this goes/goals!
MOOD FOR 2K24
1. Healthier & Personalized Home Cooking & Meals -
I exercise pretty heavily but nutrition has always been a source of contention that escapes my basic comprehension. I enjoy healthy food and one of my resolutions this year is to balance my love for dessert and sweets - I have to eat sweets every day - with healthier meals and home cooking during the day. I would like to be the healthy Martha Stewart!
2. Continue My Fitness Journey - My fitness is on its A game if I do say so myself. I exercise 6-9 times a week, multiple times a day if I can. I used to be a daily runner and I would love to incorporate short miles back in my routine as well as fun activities I used to do daily such as dance and spin.
3. Reading & Writing! - I joined a book club this year and want to expand my reading goals to longer novels and non-fiction - 1-2 books a week would be ideal. In addition, I want to start writing prose and am planning on writing helpful content and short non-fiction. Maybe I will share on here!
4. Restful Sleep & Active Resting - Rest is integral to my routine - I always get 8 hours of sleep. However, my rest beforehand is not always the most... restful. I definitely have an opportunity to develop a calming evening routine to ease my evening into a better restful sleep. Thinking calming music, essential oils, and light reading!
5. Moving - I need to move and I am excited for it! I have an idea of when and where but I just need to make it happen 😊. I used to move 1-2x every year or two since my early twenties and it's getting to be that time again.
6. Get More Sun! Better Outdoor Activities - I make sure to get enough vitamin D and outdoor sun time daily with my dogs but I want to incorporate funner, more active types of movement I will enjoy - i.e. hiking, surfing, camping etc.
7. Traveling - Always on my list. Time to get Global Citizen / get my TSA Pre-checked renewed! I keep forgetting and I need to get back on the wagon with you folks!
8. Home Businesses - Work on the multiple projects I have going and benchmark my progress and success appropriately. Keep on balancing my work life lifestyle.
9. Sustainable Living & Shopping - I buy a lot of thrift / used items and have became a lot more sustainable in my every day consumption of natural goods, energy, and material goods. Definitely want to continue reducing my carbon footprint and join in on promoting sustainable products and lifestyle habits. Will share on here!
