Hellooooo 2025!!!

Wow! Here we are, January 1, 2025! Happy New Year!

I started this Blog in November 2023. So much has happened since, some I've documented, most I have not.

I'm a fairly private person when it comes to important things and it's safe to say this blog has been there for me to share what I believe are fun, harmless, nutritional, self-care, and wellness tidbits from my life. If you're still following me, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

In summary, 2024 brought a huge a cross-country move, several new jobs, new friendships, new experiences, new lessons, new relationships, new love, new pets, new skills, shiny new expensive things, new projects, new goals, and fun times with friends.

I started a cushy job in fashion, lived in 4 different apartments/houses, made new connections with complete strangers, had 3 jobs, started numerous projects, met a ton of new friends in the East Coast, reconnected with some old dear friends, started my own pet sitting service, dated a few nice men, gained 3 new cats, took a break from social media, successfully reached certain goals, celebrated milestones, and strengthened my relationship with God and my family.

I sought medical and professional treatment for my mental and physical health concerns and ended the year healthy and happy. I gained complete sobriety over alcohol and marijuana (not that I ever had a problem with them, but sobriety in a recreational sense), became celibate for almost a year, and developed a close team of individuals I could count on.

However, 2024 also brought the same amount of pain, grief, sadness, heartbreak, challenges and unfortunate situations. I've lost friends, relationships, pets, jobs and discovered throughout it all my resiliency, tenacity, resourcefulness, and strength was what brought to test and was what got me through.

There was not one situation that I doubted I will win with the grace of God and the support of those close to me. I took away from learning what there was to learn from a negative situation and sought ways to become an even better person throughout it all.

What I learned is that it is important to turn darkness into light and keep chasing the light in our lives. We are here on earth briefly so we might as well live our lives freely, unburdened by the pains and stresses of our past and present and lose any negativity we hold towards ourselves, our past, our decisions, or environment. What we can control, we fix, what we can't, we let it go. I choose to remember the good memories and kiss the bad ones goodbye. They are so 2024.

So today, after a delightful night of watching fireworks by the beach and working hard on my projects, I feel ready to enter the New Year with focus, determination, will power, and wisdom. The knowledge that the only moment I have is the current, and the best time is now.

Let 2025 be a year full of inspiration, good health, and happiness to us all. I am excited, optimistic, and ready to see what is ahead of us all and will be there every step of the way ready to help or guide you through this blog and in my personal life.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holidays and New Years Eve - here's a virtual toast to all my friends, family, and readers.

Happy New Year! Let this be the best one (yet)!
